Stencil Awards
Tech industry's last, best chance to
take itself less seriously
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 13, 2000 – Plans were
announced today for the first annual Stencil Awards, to be held on March 30,
2000 in San Francisco. The Stencil Awards will be held yearly thereafter on
or near April Fool's Day. The Stencils, a mock awards banquet recognizing
the best and worst the dot com world has to offer, is the technology
industry's last, best chance to take itself a little less
seriously.
