Two versions of the service are available to meet enterprise performance and deployment requirements:

NetLightning SSL-T
This service provides the full benefit from transport layer performance optimizations including the Netli protocol which eliminates latency associated with TCP's three way handshake, slow-start pauses, and excessive retransmission intervals due to packet loss and congestion. No additional installation is required to take advantage of this offering. The service delivers the following features:

• Transport layer optimization
• Security model provides end-to-end SSL (HTTPS)
• No additional set up required
• Meets HIPPA, government, and financial security regulations

NetLightning SSL-AT
This service delivers the highest level of acceleration by leveraging both transport and application layer performance optimizations including: caching, compression, image pre-fetching, and the complete suite of NetLightning technologies. The service delivers the following features:

• Application and transport layer optimization
• Security model provides end-to-end SSL (HTTPS) with traffic between Netli nodes using 128 bit encryption
• Minimal set-up required to integrate with Netli's infrastructure
• Partnership with nCipher provides FIPS 140-2 Level-3 validated security

Both NetLightning SSL solutions are transparent requiring no changes to server software, application, or clients and are available today.
